    Canfield 9T hub sound?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know a video with the Canfield 9-tooth hub's sound? I know that sound is in no way indicative of a good design, and sound isn't a selling point for me. I was just wondering.

Sorry, I don't have one right now, I might be able to get one later today. It's just a plain, normal pawl-style freewheel sounds. Not loud, not quiet. Just ho-hum.

Just loud enough to let your buddies now your "coasting"!!! Kind of sounds like a older Ringle' hub... Which works for me since I have 2 of them on my bikes...

The 150 mm DH hubs are louder than other Canfield hubs due to the internals. Same sound though since the design is the same on the hubs.

I really like my Canfield Micro-drive 9spd. I am running it with a SRAM PG990 cassette to make it a 9-34.

Yes, same here, I like the system. I've heavily modified my set up to have a 9-40.

Only problem is I've noticed they don't have the hubsets (and gears) available for sale. They told me they were waiting for manufacturers of 9 tooth gear sets. My friend emailed them and got a response something along the line of solving a wear problem with their gears and so are not selling them now. It's troubling because I just spent a lot of money investing into this system and I'd hate to think it's already obsolete and I won't be able to get parts.
