9 colors available and no highlighter yellow? Much disappoint son. Are 2 blacks really necessary? And I know some will be disappointed by the lack of ISCG05 tabs.

i would want a Chrome( i need to see it first) if it looks like the Black Chrome of Yelli i would rather prefer the Matte Black.

Good stuff! Curious to hear the reasoning behind the choice of 4130 Chromo, as opposed to Reynolds 853? Also wondering about the little details like "frame saver" pre-treatment, pre-raced/faced/chased, and free TShirt like the Yelli preorder ;)?

That's me. I'll be sticking with my Yelli Screamy until I can afford a Surface.

We wanted to incorporate a hydro formed toptube and a 44mm head tube. New innovations include a removable front derailleur block that allows the frame to look super clean when setting it up as single speed. We also designed new sliding dropouts that are reminiscent of something seen on custom motorcycle. Lastly, we gave the new Nimble 9 the innovative Canfield Brothers 29er Geometry.

We will be releasing the new Nimble 9 in nine colors, Canfield Glow in the Dark Sparkle Blue, Sparkle Orange, Sparkle Green, Matte Black, Gloss Black, Deep Red, Midnight, Forest Green and Limited Edition Chrome.

The Nimble 9 is currently in production with an estimated ship date of May 2013.

I can't wait to get mine which is on pre-order.

I was told that the head tube will accept a standard 1 and 1/8 headset, but I see 44mm upper and lower cups, correct? Just wanted to make sure before I order parts for my build.

CORRECT. The new Nimble has a 44mm HT.

The 44mm head tube will not accept a 1 1/8" headset, as you asked, but it will accept a straight steerer tube of that size, and obviously a tapered steerer. You will need a headset specifically for 44mm (not 1 1/8), such as a Chris King Inset 7.

    Thanks, guys!

I think I may invest in the CK Inset 7 headset.

    Will this work, too?

    FSA Orbit ZS Integrated Headset

Universal Cycles -- FSA Orbit ZS Integrated Headset

I will be running a straight 1 and 1/8 steerer tube.

    Thanks!

Personally, I like the King stuff, but there are others like Cane Creek that others have reported perform just as good for much much less. I was just using the Inset 7 as an example.

    For tapered fork:
Universal Cycles -- Cane Creek 40 EC44/40 1.5" Lower Assembly
Universal Cycles -- Cane Creek 40-Series ZS44 Upper Assembly

    For 1 1/8" straight steerer:
Universal Cycles -- Cane Creek 40-Series ZS44 Headset - Black

Does anyone know if it would be better to go with a Chris King Inset 1 or Inset 7 when pairing with at 100mm travel fork with a 1-1/8 steer tube? I'm not sure how to know which will work best with the 2013 N9 geometry. Would welcome any advice anyone has. Thanks!
