What's the BB height? That is wicked cool looking BTW.

That is my sole concern with repurposing a 29'er as we have tons and tons of rocks here.

Intriguing! So does a 650b/150mm roughly equal (Geo wise) a 29"/120mm combo?

Did you ever have it set up as a 29, if so how do they compare?

What length are your cranks.... That BB measurement is not much different than my 2011 ONE with 180mm forks. (in sag position) Might be a cool option for a aggressive hardtail build

Is that a 650B fork? Im running a 140mm Manitou 29er fork on my 650B Yelli. Axle to crown should be about the same.

a used fox 34 650b fork from a bronson (i guess). Was planning on going 160mm, but might get too high.

    more r&d this weekend.

did some xc trails at salmon falls (sacramento), semi rocky tacky trail. no pedal strikes and attack mode is great. the bike gets awesome pumps due to the longer travel fork.
