No interference with a medium 08 I ran a ti spring and original steel spring and even a manitou spring at one point no fitment issues

I don't have access to either, but I'm pretty sure the '11 would be the same as my '13 so I'll give what info I have.

I have several shock options, Elka Stage 5 is the skinniest with 1.38 spring Inner Diameter, CCDB is next with a 1.43 spring ID, and biggest is the RS Vivid R2C with a 1.5 spring ID.

Elka stage 5 with a 450 spring fits in all 3 holes just fine no rubbing. Same shock with 550 Ti spring only fits bottom and middle holes (my Ti spring has a 1.38 ID, but has a larger Outer Diam than the stock 450 steel), spring comes into contact with the sidewalls during compression in the top hole.

CCDB with a 450 spring fits in all 3 holes just fine, no rubbing. Same shock with a 400 and 450 Ti spring fits all 3 holes just fine, no rubbing. This is my brother's setup so I do not know how a heavier spring would sit, I imagine anything 500 or up would start having issues.

RS Vivid with a 450 spring fits ONLY the middle hole, directly hits the link in the bottom hole rubs the frame under compression on the top hole. I tried a 550 steel spring and it would not fit in the frame at all. Any Ti spring would be the same issue as far as I know as they are naturally thicker than steel.

As far as know, the Vivid and the Avalanche Chubbie are the only ones that have the larger 1.5 spring ID, and Fox and Marz share the 1.38.

1st Major upgrade in over a decade! The aging 2001 Straight 8 is still a monster on the trails but I feel/felt it's time for something new! Picked up a Small 2011, It feels amazing bouncing around on in the parking lot and at the same time it feels totally weird being that I've only known nothing better then the ol' nostalgic and the vintage Lawwill rig.. Weighed in at just a tad over 37lbs.! about 4lbs lighter then the Straight8. It was a toss up! The geometry of both the small and medium Jedi's were extremely close to that of the small Straght8's geo. I'm super excited! the vertical and back path of the rear wheel is what drew me more towards the Jedi being that that's what the Lawwill design pretty much did and was told by Vin it would be a good transition. Anyhow, Can't wait to hit the trails! and " Let It Buck!! "

    Good job!

Well my frame arrived a couple of days ago and what can I say....? This thing is beautiful! I know most of you guys already have your own Jedi's but seeing it in the flesh/metal it really does strike you what a great piece of design & manufacturing this thing is - the pictures on the website don't really do it justice. I'm really pleased with the Canfield wheels I got too.

Have ordered a couple more components already (forks & bars) and will post a couple of pics next week when I've had a bit of time to get organised & set up in the garage.

Another happy customer - thanks to Vin & Sean for taking care of my order
