I've only ridden a 26" rear on my '05 Scream and I can't imagine a better setup for what I ride -- East Coast DH/FR parks... lots of technical, rocky downhills, ladder drops, and hucks up to about 10' or so. From what I've heard, the 24 would be great for hucking, but the 26 would handle better on the fast, rocky DHs.
This July I'm doing a week-long trip to BC ( Fernie, Invermere, Golden). Never been out there before, so I'm wondering if running a 24" would be better. Anyone here ridden both? What do you prefer for what type of riding?
