    Painting RM 3DLink

I'm thinking about painting the 3DLink on my slayer black since it would look better on my bike.

Would I have to mask anything ? Or wouldn't a thin layer of paint matter where the bearings attach to the 3dlink matter ?

Could it in any way void the warranty ? If so, only the warranty on the 3dlink itself I suppose ?

    Any experiences to share ?

If I were you, instead of painting the 3-D Link, why not just have it anodized? It may be harder to locate someone who can do this, but it will look better and the finish will last longer.
