    Norco Sizing

Hey Norco riders, I'm thinking about getting the vps dh team but am worried about one thing. I'm 27 but only 5'4'' and am curious if I am tall enough to get away with the small/medium sizing that the bike comes in? Norco does not have a conventional small/medium/large sizing so I'm worried that the small/medium is too big for me. Can anyone give me a better idea with what I may be getting into? Thanks!

Hope I'm not too late to help you, but here goes nothin'...

I'm about 5'11", and I'm on a medium 2004 Norco Shore. I don't know what has changed between then and now with their sizing, but I would definitely recommend nothing larger than the small for you.

In your favour is the low standover height of the frame, but bear in mind that it slopes sharply upward towards the headtube. The "top tube" is quite short on the DH, so I think you'll find it comfortable reaching the bars.

Bottom line? Ride before you buy, and good luck!

Is there any norco dealer nearby? Checking one out in person would be best.

If not, post the same question on the bulletin boards. lots of norco riders there.
