Hey guys my shop has a left over 2005 norco a line for a good deal. im thinking about getting it. i was just wondering how they rode. ive heard that its extremely hard to pedal them on flat land let alone hills (not what its for anyway ) lol. so if anyone could tell me how they ride and pedal on flat land (general use...around neighborhood backyard etc.) because i wouldnt want the only time i get to use it be on the weekends when i go to diablo. pics would be nice also thanks a lot!
ok heres what i mean. i have local trails but i have to ride on flat gound and slight hills to get to it. its a dh track but theres no shuttle to take me to the top i have to ride there. so what im basically asking is-how do these bikes pedal on flat land and slight hills? please answer. id be getting it saturday.
All depends on you. Lots of folks on the North Shore pedal them uphill before riding down (novel concept). I personally wouldn't want to pedal a bike that heavy with no granny uphill.
the bike (fsr linkage) pedals very good, but very heavy. the bike was designed with whistler in mind (hence the name A-line), so it's much better going down.
thanks a lot guys. i still have some thinking to do. does anyone else have an opinion about this?
