    re signing Ryder Kasprick:

A new ti Huster is rumoured to be in the works. Lynskey would make it, just like he does for all you On-One fans in the UK. Keep an eye out at interbike for first proto's....

I think you're talking about "Hummer" and not 'Hustler" ?

Yeah, I'd imagine he was talking about the Hummer.

plenty of proto pics from Interbikes 2 years ago! here

    New hustler and std...mmmmmm

my guess is that they're thinking it through!!!

If the new hummer is more like the stiffee and less like the HJ...mmmhhhhhhhh

I think you're wrong. Ti hummer isn't news....

Ti version of Hustler (current configuration) is what I was talking about. I wouldn't hold one's breath for the other design.Besides, there's lots of others doing dw bikes out there...

    Cove All Mountain 6IN Prototype

North Vancouver based bicycle manufacturer Cove Bikes is at it again! Utilizing the same suspension technology as the award winning Shocker and STD frames, Cove designer, Brian Kelly has been toiling away to massage the final details of this new All Mountain wrecking machine. This bike has been in development for the past year and is nearing completion. Utilizing the now proven dual link suspension, this 6in travel AM rig will be sure to please.

    • 155mm of optimized rear wheel travel
    • Zero, negative pedal or braking feedback
    • 8 pounds medium frame with Fox DHX AIR (7.875" x 2.25")
    • 67.5- 66 degree head angle with 140-160mm fork travel
    • 22.8" top tube length
    • 16.8" chainstay
    • 13.8" BB height

This new frame is intended for the aggressive all mountain/ light free ride group falling between our Hustler and STD. It has a more generous wheelbase than our Hustler, which adds to high speed stability yet maintains an aggressive geometry for navigating the tight and twisty without complaint. It is considerably lighter than the STD for the all day traverse that takes you up to the promise land.

The bike performs admirably on the jagged steeps, while maintaining unreal pedaling and traction in loose or rough conditions. At the sag point, the suspension settles, maintaining a stiff and responsive feel yet remains supple enough to make most obstacles disappear.

Although this bike is intended for 2010 release, it is being rigorously tested as we speak and will be showcased at selected events, such as Kokanee Crankworx as well as Interbike in fall 2009.

We caught up with Cove Bike team manager Dan Skogland, to see their new bike in action at home, the North Shore.

    Check out the video

This Cove prototype, so far remains unnamed. It is expected to be in full production for 2010.

We hope to keep you informed as soon as more information is available.

Considering the name has not yet been confirmed and we all know the usual trend of the Cove bikes name choice, we thought it'd be fun to encourage your suggestions...

    Try and keep suggestions printable.
