    G-spot with 2.25" stroke?

has anyone tried running a 2.25" stroke on a G-spot to give more travel?

i am running my g-spot with 2.75 in travel, but the shock barley fits in the frame and it touches the top and its changed my head angle a bit but the travel is crazy. i love it tho

the stock 5th element is 2.5 in stroke so 2.25 would not have as much

    Yep

I run a Fox DHX 5.0 with 2.25 stroke (came off my Heckler when I switched to a RP23) on an older model...02' I believe.

No problems with clearance issues and seems to work fine.

Ooops, nevermind my post since it does not apply. (You are already at 200 mm=7.875 inch eye-to-eye). Did my conversion all wrong.

Not a G-spot but I just swapped from a 190x50 to 200x57 mm shock on my bike with roughly 3:1 leverage (150->171 mm wheel travel).

This image will give you an idea of the swap. Actually the difference came out smaller than I had expected but I really dig the somewhat higher BB for trail riding (compare the chain). (lighter bike is the new one). I tried to align the rear wheel of the two images.

    Cheers
