Devinci remix sl5 2009

There's some 2009 remix 5 frames for $460 on ebay right now, but I don't know much about devinci as a company or their frames. Google showed me that it's an xc and trail frame, but the frame appears to be very bulky for xc.

Anyone have experience with them? There's very little info about them online apart from the newer dixon.
