    Dekerf 29R

I don't think I have ever seen a Dekerf 29R on this forum. I don't think Chris has made many of them. She is a thing of beauty. 21" of Steel.

The pictures are linked to FB so hopefully you can see them.

Very nice, Chris makes lovely bikes, I'd be interested to hear how it rides and if you've compared it to other 29ers?

The only other 29er I have ridden is a Specialized Epic (full suspension) so they were very different beasts. I've been on Dekerf's for a decade now, and I'm probably a lifer, assuming Chris keeps making bikes. This Team SST rides like my Dekerf Generation did, and that is a good thing.

I used to have a Dekerf Implant which I loved, shame I sold it, but there are discussion afoot regarding a new build sometime soon...

    Enjoy it, it's lovely!

Pardon for the hijack but I got a 26" Dekerf. Lovely. I can see why people love him.

How exactly is that a Dekerf ?! All his frames have had the same monostay/wishbone seatstay design for over a decade now. That's clearly an OffRoadToad.

Chris did/does weld some of these frames up apparently, to me they look cool, maybe not Dekerf cool but still!

Is that a question for me? Yes, I'm sure. Talked to Chris about it. Lovely bike but very sorry for the derail. Why is there not a Dekerf subgroup?!

Chris welded thousands of Rocky Mountains when he worked there, that doesn't make any of those frames DeKerf's either though. I don't see why some people think that having a particular welder join the tubes makes that frame then one of his brand of frames.

As to the lack of DeKerf manufacturers forum, probably the same reason there isn't one for say Eclipse (which has only sold tens of thousands of bikes around canada), or Tomac, or True North, or Cube, or Ghost, or (shall I go on?)
