    No good Balfa to close its door

    It is official, Balfa shop in Boucherville (Longueuil) is closing down. Procycle have yet to annonce what thay will do with the name (either kill it or dirty the name by putting on some cheapo frame from elsewhere). Sad Sad Sad story. Clearly a case of suit-and-tie running the show IMO. (in french) and also have thread on this issue.

    I just got off the phone with Balfa and they state that the rumors are not true with them shutting down...I hope there right.

    I hope they are right too. There only problem was that they did need to have some wlower end modles to seel to the other group of people (the up-coming riders) The BB7 was such a great bike. I really hope this isn't true!

    Balfa go by by.

    They have evaporated. No more Balfa. I got a reply from someone at Procycle and they said that manufacturing is finished. they have swalowed the Balfa name.
