    2.5 tires for RM ETSX

Anybody done this? I'm considering some big tires for my ETSX. Before I roll down to the shop, I'd like to hear what other people's experiences have been.

    thanks

With 2.35" Kenda Kinetics I have 3/8" of clearance between the side knobs and the suspension wishbones and seatstays. A 2.5" tire should still give you more than 1/4" of clearance to each side and to the yoke on the seat stay. If you're in clay mud that might be a bit close.

Thanks for the replies. I can't decide between 2.3 or 2.5 weirwolfs for fall/early winter riding. It's good to know that the 2.5's would work. Maybe I'll go that route afterall.

    iv'e run both 2.5 and 2.3 weirwolfs...

Both worked fine, in dry conditions.
What i settled on was 2.3 rear (acceleration/weight advantage) and 2.5 front, with a Fox.
Superb handling and weight this way...do it!
