06 Slayer Specs - anyone in the know?

I read the NSMB blurb. Does anyone have any more specific info regarding the componentry specs for each of the 4 lines of the new Slayer? Is there a website with this info? (I assume that I'm not the only one who can't get into the new Slayer site). I did a google search and came up empty handed.

    Thanks.

Thanks a lot. That is great info.

So, completing the puzzle, according to NSMB, the price points are:

    90 - $5,999
    70 - $4,399
    50 - $3,699
    30 - $2,999

What do you think is the best bang for the buck? The 70?

I've never owned a RM. I appreciate that it's all about the frame, but holy cow - I would have at least thought that they would have spec'd a DHX 5 instead of an RP3 for the top (and possibly top 2) models. The new Kona Coilair is spec'd to the max, and priced well over a $1,000 less than the 90. A full load SC Nomad is about $500 cheaper as well. Bear in mind that in my experience, a 15% discount from list is easily attainable for either Kona or SC, but most RM dealers won't budge much, if any. That increases the price spread even more.

Don't take anything I'm saying the wrong way - a lot of my riding buddies have ridden RM's from the start and swear by them. I can't help but look at the bottom line though when I'm parting with this much dough. I'm having a lot of difficulty breaking my longstanding loyalty to Kona as well.

    Decisions, decisions...

PS - I forgot to mention that the Juicy's cause me some concern, in light of repeated comments here and elsewhere as to problems with their rotors, among other things. At least RM moved away from the dual control levers.

PPS - I guess I should have used the edit button for the previous post rather than writing this one. Sorry.

I'm not too sure about those prices. Is that in Canadian dollars? The prices I've seen are lower. Wait to ride the new Slayer before you compare it to the Coiler. Also check out newslayer.com

I got the prices from the NSMB blurb:

The prices are in fact Canadian (as am I).

I can't get into the new Slayer site. If you are able to, please tell me how to do it. I suspect that access is not yet available.

    Thanks.
