For you people who have biked daley ranch...

Ive only been to dailey ranch once, and i think we did the first half of the trail the wrong direction. We did the west half of the trails, Jack creak meadow all the way to bob cat and then couger ridge back.

I want to go up to stanley peak tomorow and have a couple questions.

    Bike it or hike it?
Will it still be too muddy to bike it?
What is the recomended way to get up to the peak, should i make my own way? I park at La Honda so i figured i would take creek crossing to the east and go from there.

Any tips would be great, thank you.

Rode up the peak for the first time a few weeks ago before the rains. I would guess the trail up would drain pretty well, kind of a packed sand or DG material. Other spots in Daley can remain muddy for a long time though.

The peak itself is ridable, but it does get pretty steep just before the top. Reminded me of Hell Hill a bit (the Sycamore Canyon-Newbury Park one) with turns.
    If not biking, then what?

I'm planning on riding Daley on Saturday, unless the consensus is it's still too muddy from the past rains?
