Hey, give that back. Who said you could have all of our moisture? We are in for serious problems here in WA in the next year. It has not been this dry in almost 30 years. Consider yourselves lucky that you most likely will not burn anything/everything this year.

Actually, all of this moisture has made everything grow an exceptional amount this year. Everything that is green now will turn dead in the heat of the desert summer, and that is perfect kindling for those raging fires.

For an amazing set of contrasting pics from after the last fires here in SD, see the thread in the SoCal forum on ATT, I think.

So the storm systems that usually hit you guys and miss SoCal are dropping lower, giving us rain and you sunshine?? Man I can't wait for Spring!!!

This really blows. I keep thinking it has to let up sometime, but everyday I check The Weather Channel's website and look at the 10 day forecast, and it always sucks.

To make matters worse, I couldn't ride the last week and a half because I was sick. Now that I'm better, the rain comes back
I hope you have a big trunk... 'cuz I'm puttin' my bike in it.

    DD, I feel your pain

I've logged way to many miles on the go nowhere bike this winter.

I was even willing to settle with a couple of nice long road rides this weekend.

    C'mon spring, c'mon daylight savings.

I like the rain, but now there is just to much... I'm getting sick of it. The good thing about it is that plants are going to be greener longer. And that means better riding dirt for the summer. I'm taking the time to build jumps bigger and better... maybe build othr places too. I'm going to go get some milk ane cookies.

    Happy Days,
    Fraser

Since I was a kid I have loved to ride in the rain but I totaly hate mud. I am lucky that I have a gravel road behind my house, so when I am Jonesing for a ride I can ride rain or not. From my house it is a 525ft climb the first mile and about another half a mile to the top, for about a 700ft climb. I use that hill and my single speed to stop the Jones and stay in shape. Also an afterwork night ride.

    Head to Sullivan Canyon

Sullivan is in epic condition thanks to all the rain. I think its the only ride around where the more water the better. Its like riding up a 4 mile river right now but the bottom is hard and most spots are rideable. Its not for the faint of heart but the climb up is worth it for the awesome decent.
