    Westside LA

    Hey guys!

Currently studying in NYC, but I'm moving in LA in June.
I will finally have some real tracks under my wheels.

What are the best trails to do around LA ( AM and DH)? I've heard about noble canyon?
Do you guys have any housing tips in westside La or not that far ( I will work in Santa Monica).?
Thanks and cya later in June!

Will watch this SOCAL forum too now !

like bob said... there is some good singletrack in the S.Monica mtns.
even better singletrack down in OC (Laguna, Chumash, etc..), some good dh shuttles on Mt. Wilson and Simi Valley. Noble is down in San Diego and is quite a drive, local riding will keep you plenty satisfied.

Welcome! Yeah, there's lots to ride just 20 mins away from Santa Monica. If you're working in Santa Monica, and can afford to live there (or Venice), I'd suggest living as close as possible to work. The traffic on the West side of LA is atrocious. You want to keep your commute as short as possible. That being said, Santa Monica and Venice are about as expensive as it gets out here so good luck with that.

This is a great resource for trail beta out here....

And a regular night ride that I do on Wednesdays with a crew....
