    Penny Pines parking area

Join SDMBA as we continue trail maintenance on Noble Canyon Trail. We’ll add some more drainages as well as clean out the existing ones and buff out some corners...

Meet at Penny Pines at 9:00-9:15 am, we'll carpool to the work location on Pine Creek Road.

All tools & training will be provided (after signing a waiver). We’ll work to 1-2 pm; afterward we’ll hand out some swag from Calcoast Bicycles, Sockguy & refreshments from Lagunitas Brewing Company.

Update! Great weather tomorrow & Shimano has donated some of their Pro line of tools & accessories plus, someone will go home with a brand new pair of XT...

Please bring your own food & water, eye protection is required, gloves, long sleeves & pants are highly recommended.

    Please R.S.V.P. to mark@sdmba.com.

Directions: Take Interstate 8 east to the Sunrise Highway (S1) exit; continue north to mile marker 27.3, Penny Pines parking area (upper Noble Canyon Trail Head).

A Forest Adventure Pass is no longer required at Penny Pines.

What a great day for trail work! My first trail work and definitely not my last! I learned a lot about how the water runs through the trails and how to accomodate it. We worked on the upper reroute and it looks a whole lot better now.

I owe it to my favorite trail.

Many thanks to Mark for organizing the trail work, Tom for helping a novice worker, Cal Coast, Sock Guy, REI, Lagunitas beer (free!), and Shimano for my shiny new XT pedals!

Free stuff, trail improvement, and the topper- I rode the trail!

Thank you for your service! And as always, thanks to Mark. He deserves mega rep for all the effort and time he puts in on our behalf.
You guys give an old cynic hope.
