    Good job! Trail repairs

    Cactus Trail Repairs

Many thanks to all those who came out last Saturday at Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park and contributed their labor to repairing one section of the Cactus Hill Trail.

SHARE, Team Basso and others were involved and persistant in the completion of this repair.

This section is now a more sustainable public recreation trail thanks to the volunteers hard work!

    Well done! Good Job!

    Happy Trails.

    Thanks Tom

Ken did a great job laying out the new trail and organizing everything. When we arrived and looked at our task we all agreed that we would never get it done in one day. Much to our suprise a few hours later we had a new trail. I am always amazed at what at few hard working volunteers can do in a short time.
A few folks stopped by on their way down to pitch in also. We only got one complaint but that usually comes from those who do not understand the laws of sustainabilty when it comes to trails. It was obvious that this trail had very little time before it would have been closed.
As always, it was a pleasure working in your park.
BTW - we miss you on the Thursday El Moro rides, when are coming back?
