    Trail recommendations in Simi

Looking to ride somewhere in Simi tomorrow, and all of the trail reviews are dated..........so, which trail would you recommend to ride. I'm leaning toward Chumash.

    THANKS !

If you do Las Lajas look out for the bull on the hill by the oil pumps, he chased and "bumped" a biker a few weeks ago.

    What are you riding?

I'll be out early, riding up Las Lajas and up Sea's Hell hill, down Chumash. On a blue Turner...

Or maybe you saw me, I only saw a couple of riders, but did not see your post until now.
It was nice today, perfect weather for a ride. Only problem was, I had a loose spoke which took out two tubes before I figured it out. So, chances are you saw me with the bike upside down and tools out!

    Mr Magu,

Looks like we missed one another..maybe next time. Fun ride, although climbing up Rocky Peak to Chumash was a killer !!! Chumash was really fun going down, probably go up it next time, and try going down Hummingbird. Great weather tho......didn't see many bikers.....

Bring your "A" game to Hummingbird......tight, rockgarden, switchbacks......not smooth like Chumash

h bird is a very nice ride . "A" game not needed. while it is tight and has a large amount or the rocky stuff it is a very friendly trail. there are a few spots that may appear to be a little more involved then they are but trust me you can handle them quick easily.

Guess it depends on one's skill level. The OP didn't say. I love Hummingbird, but there are definitely places that take some skill and confidence. There are a lot of riders I know who I wouldn't take there. It's not a hard-core trail and it's not scary steep, of course. If you have the skill, it's a blast!
