    trail for beginners?

i've just started riding and am looking for a trail in the Los Angeles area that's a very easy ride. Does anyone know of one?

Lower Brown Mountain look for it on the Trails review list here on this site. But instead of going up to the right from the paved road stay to the left. Its all fireroad but this road is short and give you a good guage of what kind of shape your in. Its an Out and Back so you dont have to worrie about getting lost.

If your gonna shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

The Sycamore Cyn./Pt. Mugu park is very large and has many trails. The trail along the canyon floor is basically flat and has many interesting riding options.

Where in LA are you? The aforementioned Sycamore/Pt Mugu is good, especially if you start from the beach side (since it's uphill on the way out, and down on the way back...just ride until you're tired, then coast back down). Of course, that could be quite far from you.

Chesebro is a bit closer to L.A. and has pretty good beginner riding too.

LA is a big place... Where about in LA?
I may not be as good as I once was.
But I'm as good once, as I ever was.
