Freakin fast! it had some good terrain and challenges for such a flat course. when you are crousing at race speed it made the rocks a bit more challenging. but the cat 1 cut offs were my favorite part. i would totally do that race again.

Glad you guys had fun at our local riding spot  I was chatting with one of the guys tearing down the course earlier today and he said some homeowners got pissed off because of the ATV's (first aid) going up and down the park.
Even though the promoter got a permit from the city for the OHV, the homeowner said he was gonna see to it that future races don't happen....:madman:
i beat DJ by a minute but was down to Ty by 6, and marco by almost 3 minutes. since the 30-34 group started with the Pro wave (first to leave the start line) i wasn't racing with them per se (they took off 2 minutes ahead of me). i worked my way through most of the people that started in their wave though.
i missed racing with Bryan because we actually raced each other, we swapped positions and were pushing each other throughout the race at Fontana.
i nearly caught DJ on course. he looked back and saw me and put in a big effort to stay away. he opened up the gap a bit after i dialed it back to avoid cramping.
I raced this race this past weekend and I really enjoyed the course; I hope that things are smoothed out with some of the nearby homeowners so that this race will be included in next year's line-up.
