    Sycamore Canyon grading-Riverside C0

Rode Sycamore Canyon in Riverside last night and noticed heavy equipment located in the center of the riding area on the east side. Looks like the far west end of Eastridge Ave.
Any info on what are they doing there? That area, like all others, keeps shrinking

Most of the good riding in Riverside has been under pavement since the mid 90s.

Isn't that where they are putting a mega logistics center?

    Bummer...

Here's the site of the new warehouse, which luckily doesn't look like it will encroach much on the trails that run from Jenson up to the bench.

That area isn't officially part of the protected space. There were not any trails there either. We also lost the other side of Alessandro, the "Ammo Gulley" side is being ripped apart. But those trails were always illegal and we were on borrowed time.

I'll have a couple of permanent KOM's though!

Yeah, I've got some permanent KOM's thanks to the warehouse they built several years back off of Sycamore and Allessandro that cut off our old sycamore loop.

I just marked all those trails as dangerous so no more KOM.

    j/k
