    Summer Tires

I have been riding a 2.35 nevegal all winter and they have been great under tacky and loamier conditions. The last two weeks we have been back in the real word here in SoCal on slippery, dry and hard decomposed granite.

For mostly dry DG, what do you ride in a 2.35-2.5? preferably folding.

I used 2.1 Small Blocks f & r last summer/fall and they were great in socal d.g, but in spring I put a 2.35 Nevegal up front cuz it was washing out in mud & grass. Big improvement. I've seen quite a few people recommending the SB8/Nevegal combo -- that's why I tried it. Don't think I'll put the 2.1 SB8 back on the front in summer. Maybe a 2.35 SB8, or leave the Nevegal.

The problem with SB8's is that they are single ply, thus prone to snakebite.
So you need to keep an eye on the air pressure, and avoid the big drops.
