    sullivan canyon trivia

    anyone know or seen "the old man in the tree"?

    if so, any facts about it??

    agreed kind of creepy and kind of weird.....it's pretty high up in the tree.

    I first saw the face a couple of years ago, while riding with my son in the canyon. We happen to stop at this tree and looked up for some reason.

    No idea how long it has been up there, or who first put it up there.

    The tree is located maybe 1/2 to 3/4mile into the canyon.

    If you were descending it would be at the bottom of one of the little pitches that leads into a long arcing right hand turn.

    Someone needs to put reflective eyes on that thing . . . the only time I ever seem to ride the canyon anymore is at night, and all the pipeline markers freak me out . . . this would only add to the mix
    Alcohol may lead nowhere, but it sure is the scenic route!
