Did you file a police report (with LAPD) regarding the your bike? Any pictures or serial number given to the authorities?

Near Westood Blvd and Santa Monica. I am not home this morning and can't dig up any picks of my actual bike, but it looks like this. It was stolen around 1:30 in the afternoon. They cut through two locks to get to it.

It has a Thomson Seat Post, old Shimano SPD pedals and some old bar ends (off my old bike), and yeah.. I am one of those guys that likes having different places to put my hands while riding.

    Borrowed the below pic........

Dude I feel your pain......I once had $2,500 bike stolen only 2 months after I bought it

Anything else stolen? Unfortunately it could have been a neighbor, a neighbor's friend, even someone you know....

I would start by going to all your neighbors and offering a reward w/no questions asked.....then I would go buy a Pit Bull and chain him to your next bike while you are at work.....

Amazing . . . I live near that intersection as well and also had a bike stolen from right out in my courtyard. Also had to cut through locks and climb a high fence. I wonder if it was the same scumbags. I'll DEFINITELY keep my eyes open.

Mine hasn't shown up on there yet, but I still check. I wouldn't be surprised if it showed up months from now.

There's a seller on CL that must be selling stolen rigs. If you browse the Bikes long enough, you'll know exactly who I'm talking about.
