Even when my bike is locked to my bike rack, I like to keep it in sight while I'm eating or what not. Did you have any distinctive marks on it? Keep an eye out on fleabay and craigslist. Good luck on getting your bike back.

It was in sight its just nobody was paying attention. There is a good size mark on the left chainstay where my heel rubs. Please let me know if anyone sees it.

    Thank you

Ryan- Don't know how much it would help, but did you file a police report? If the cops pull over a tweeker bum on a uber dank bike they'll know what’s up, especially in Oceanside.

Hard lesson learned - cable locks suc. Same thing happened to mine. Now I only use a massive 25 lb hardened steel chain.

Ask Frank if his shop insurance can cover it - since it was in his lot.

(on second though Frank wouldn't be so kind)
    It wasn't me

5 minutes with a portable grinding wheel at most gets you through most any locking device including chains. Just go to YouTube and check out bike theft. A couple guys showed how to defeat most locks and in one flick the passing cops tell them 'what you need to do is...'

Thank You, I really appriciate it. It has a distinct mark on the left chain stay where my heel rubs. I know the odds aren't good of finding it but i'll remain hopefull.
