So sorry about that! May I ask how it was locked up? Were the cables cut? My buddy and I usually cable lock ours on his Rec-Rac rack and I'm always nervous to have it out of sight.

    Onegmyrat,
they cut through the Kriptonic cable...clean cut. The police told me the cables are easy to cut, the theives just use a pair of dikes and spin them around the cable. Goggle opening locks and see how easy it is for them (theives)

    That sucks!

My advice, never leave your bike in the back of a truck or on the roof rack, if it is not it your sight. My friends bike was taken the same way.

Way to many scum bags these days!

let the folks at summit Ski and bikes in Westchester to keep an eye out, they are located near Manchester and Lincoln. There are a bunch of bums that live at the nearby park that are known to steal bikes in this area. The park is also located on Manchester and Lincoln.

So sorry to hear that man. I hope you get your goods back and the thieves get their Karma back ahead of schedule.

I didn't know that those cables could be cut with hand held snippers. I use a cable for my bikes right now. I think I may upgrade to some Kryptonite chains.

Edit: Theves suck. I just bought this kryptonite lock. Try to break through that!
