    Stolen bikes in OC

Someone broke into my garage last last night or early this morning. All but one of the bikes that were in there were stolen. I'm posting here in the hopes that someone may run across some parts or a whole bike

1: Bontrager Race, black 19". Has Deore XT-II thumbshifters, RaceFace cranks, and a black Judy with black Bontrager crown. Also has Gravity Research brakes front and rear, and an old XTR rear derailleur.

2: Specialized Hardrock Pro. This is my wife's bike, it's small (15") and silver, with a black Judy TT and Shimano mech. discs. It has a womens saddle too, I can't remember which brand.

3: Cannondale Killer V 500. This is an older one, 1994 or so. Size medium (17"), blue/purple fade with completely stock 7-speed LX Rapidfire components. It needed a chain, so someone may bring it into a shop to have that added.

4: KHS CX100: This was my project bike, a cyclocross frame I was building up for commuting. It has a 1x8 drivetrain with a single Gripshift X-ray, 180mm XTR cranks, Syncros stem, and Avid SD3 brakes. It's incomplete, it was sitting on spare 26" wheels so it could roll. The spare wheels had an XTR rear hub and CODA front hub. Rear wheel has red, green, gold, and black nipples.

A recent pic of the Bontrager....all that's changed is a new stem, seatpost, and some Oury grips.

    A pic of the Specialized:

Thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

    Bummer, did you have insurance?

I once had a Ventana Marble Peak nabbed, that was a big loss but luckily it was insured
I had to pay a $500. deductable but they paid me out pretty fairly, provided I replaced the bike and had a reciept showing I spent as much on the new bike as I did on the last bike.

Good luck on finding or replacing those babies. What to get next?

    Sorry to hear man.

    Thanks suck.

What general part of OC did this happen, so I can keep an eye on the trails for these or bike shop service counters.
Buy products mentioned in this post: Roach Motels and Flowbee Hair Cutting System

Happened in the North OC area. Fullerton, Brea, La Habra, Whittier are the general areas you might see something.

Yeah, my deductible on renters insurance is $500 also. Not sure what I'll get next. The Cannondale belonged to a friend (I was working on it for her), so I'll have to replace her bike, and my wife's too. I lost 2 of my own, but I'll just get another steel hardtail for now. Maybe a Cove, I'm not sure.

    That Sucks,

There is a lot of that in the OC, my sister had her beach cruzer stolen and the done up 50cc. Her neighbor got hit a few weeks earlier.

same type of deal, detached garadge cut the lock and rolled them right out. This was on 22nd ave off 405.

    good luck
