    S'more from sunday

Sunday, late afternoon...... only JB, Karin Asada, Myself, and Torrey are left.

So, we headed back out to the rock playground.

    I hit the "Buttcrack".

JB demonstrates Big Wheel soccer...his aim is uncanny!

Too bad you joined the MTBR group a little late. Hopefully, we will have a third annual SSSSS.
Scroll down the threads a little ways to find the SSSSS threads.

This "event" was in the Lagunas, ie: Noble Canyon, Big Laguna Loop.

The event was to ride single speeds and drink beer.

There is even a section on Noble named after you (Barney Rubble) and it tagged four or five of us.

A big thank you to all the folks who swagged us!

Year two of the SSSSS and it was too much fun! Camping, biking, beers and great folks -- life is good!

I was not much of a shutter bug this weekend so here are the couple of good shots that I did take:

We are SO coming out for next year's event.

I missed not being there for this one. Looks as fun as the first one was!

What's your wife's name, Herald or Bruce?
Just kiddin, by the way was the beer in the after ride format or in the camelbak?
And also, you probally wouldn't want me on that "event" anyway, I have gears and tend to drink ALL the beer.

    Looks like alot-o-fun

We had a great time riding & meeting you guys! Next year we'll hopefully make it for both days.

We'll have to hook up and ride trail up in my neck of the woods sometime soon!

    Intense day!

Sunday, the Intense demo team rolled in with a box van full of bikes and swag. The prototype big wheeler drew lots of attention and people lined up for a demo spin on it. While not truly a SS, it was close enough.

Damn it's a bummer I missed all the fun. You guys rock. Maybe next time. Hey, anyone interested in doing the Kernville fat tire fesival? It was a kick last year and I wouldn't miss it. Most of the rides are shuttle rides with a relaxed pace and it's much better orginized than Fruita. It's kind of an underground festival but, Eric Carter showed last year. He says they are some of his favorite trails in the world and close to home. The whole thing is more about having fun than riding your brains out on the hills. Nice change of pace.
