    Squishy San Diego

OK, so i'm fed-up with the muddy mess here in San Diego!!!!!!! Any of you guys know where to find trails that are still ride-able when it's wet out? Is the Anderson Truck trail sandy enough to ride?

is probably one of the only local rides that can be done during and/or immediately after a rain. the trail is composed of very little clay so it soaks up the rain nicely. Not to mention that much of the rain washes right off the trail anyway.

i tried the truck trail today. really good runoff and no mud at all. but the rain damage tore that trail up. its pretty jacked up. the loops around the upper section are nearly un-rideable and overgrown with weeds. you cant hardly find where the trail continues in sections. with this bad rain season and all the boobie-traps that might just be the end of the truck trail. some serious trail maintenance needs to happen to save it. i'll do some as soon as this rain crap ends.
