As the closure of Snow Summit makes it harder to find a downhill trail that can be shuttled/has ski lifts, it seems like trying to talk land managers to start a single use freeride/downhill trail might be the best solution. There won't really be the option of just making a mountain like Snow Summit pop up, but it seems that starting a single use trail would be much more plausible. I am not familiar with how to organize this, so if there is anyone out there who can point me to a group that is working towards a trail like this or would be willing to work towards this, I would greatly appreciate it.
