Perhaps I should do some trail maintenance in that area by collecting/removing and relocating all the beautiful rattlers?

Didn't ride in the Simi area today but not too far away...and low and behold, I captured one snake and watched another one slither by.

LOL! Ah, come on? You're not scared of a tweeny-weenie little rattle snake are ya?

Give the room they need and they will move away. Show them some respect, you are riding your bike on their property.

It's that time. One of our horses got bit in the face and died, Friday. They move a lot in the mornings and late afternoons.

Only trails I've ever seen rattlers in person were up around Rocky Peak, two on one hike.

I've been lucky everywhere else. Not a fan.

When I used to ride behind Oakridge Athletic club, I would see snakes on almost every ride in the summer. In the afternoons, it was pretty normal to see a few per ride.
