    shop for guards and pads?

i don't like mail order for things i have to try on but a lot of the shops i frequent don't really carry body armor or they only have a small selection of like one pad, one turtle shell, etc.. can anyone suggest a downhill friendly shop that stocks a decent selection? primarily, i'm looking for a combo knee/shin guard. near pasadena is ideal. in LA works too.

    thanks
