    Santa Barbara - Anyone riding?

Seems that Santa Barabara is now forecasted to have good conditions as far as air quality. Anyone riding out there? Trails open? Romero Canyon?

All of Los Padres National Forest is closed - roads (except 154), trails, and fire roads.

That leaves the front country and we're hitting Romero tonight with some lights. Be nice if the moon pops out.
If you can, get one. You can bild it up to be a kinda lite trail slaying, dirt surfin, 40 mile ride single track super mama. this bike is the cutting edge of the sport. "spred the groove".

    No good

Farg.....This is hard to swallow with the moisture we just got. What's a rider to do?!

Does Jes fall under the hand of big brother too?

Well, we rode Romero anyway and it was no problem. The sign is there, but there were a number of cars around and fresh tracks so we went for it. Got a little intermittent drizzle mixed with a warm breeze. Great ride. It as a little unpredictable as the moisture had dampened the earth and gave it some grip, but when I pushed a little, I was reminded that it wasn't much more than a sprinkle. Looked for the moon but the clouds hadn't cleared enough.

The trails have been closed as the fire danger was so high. There was a trail day on Snyder yesterday and there will be plenty of time to ride this winter.
