Santa Ana River Trail questions (Sat 6/3)

I just moved to Riverside and am looking to do the Santa Ana River Trail this Saturday. Will anyone else be up there? What is the best way to do it? Specifically is the singletrack rideable both ways? Or should I go up via Old Hwy 38, Middle Control Rd., and Seven Oaks Rd.? I'll be on a singlespeed if that makes any difference. Also, geoladders discusses the section between South Fork Cmpgr. to just east of Morton Pk.; is the section west of Morton Pk. worth doing?

    Thanks, Keith Richards-Dinger

Just did it last week, starting at the trailhead off Hwy. 38 at the "Santa Ana River Trail" sign. Did it one way back to the bottom of the mountain near picnic area (28 miles). Still had about 3k of climbing. Trail is in great condition.

We go out there weekly. I have been off since I have had a serious sinus infection.
I love the Santa Ana trail. There are some great single tracks out there!
