Is it fully open?
Are there single tracks and where?
Were there singletracks made for this?
Does this trail incorperate existing singletrack?
Where are the hop on points along the route?
When? Who? What?
More advertised details!!
Post this on the single speed board and general as well!!
check out the link in the original post. It has lots of info to answer your questions
I too have been intrigued by this trail, having come by it several months ago.
Does anyone know the approximate up/down of the trail? Has anyone considered doing it from the desert to the sea?
Let me know- thanks in advance.
If it weren't for this silly job search, I would def. be down, but I must find a way to pay the bills (or, imagine advancing my career!!!)
Doug, I checked the website, but can't tell how the route goes through Los Penasquitos. Does the ride go through there? What if the park is still closed (it is now)?

I wasn't entirely sure how the route got from Torrey Pines to Penasquitos, but the route hooked up with the upper FR on the North side of hte park and went down Powerline to join the main lower canyon trail.

Hey you guys-
Have you returned from the journey? If you have the time and inclination, I would love to know trail conditions, description of the ride, and epic story or two...Hope it was a great time.
Thanks in advance!
Old Bikes Suck!
