rut & Pua's Annual Charity Birthday Event

ARRRRRRRRE you ready to celebrate in good ole’ pirate fashion? Monique “Pua” Mata and I are hosting our 6th annual birthday bash and fundraiser and want to invite you! Every year, we try to bring the biking community together to help a group or family in need. Local companies donate bikes, sweet gear, and other fun toys (Fox, Felt and Shimano just to name a few), that we get to raffle off! And of course, we get to drink some great pints while we celebrate!

Who are we helping out? A family who currently has two young children undergoing extensive treatments for cancer and an auto-immune disease.

    Where? CisMontane Brewery-- [url=http://www.cismontanebrewing.com/home/]CisMontane Brewery
    29851 Aventura Suite D
    Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, 92688
    When? Saturday, February 23rd

Pirate ride begins at 3pm (costumes highly encouraged) and raffle ticket sales will start at 5pm. Sorry, but raffle tickets will only be sold at the event, and you
must be present to win! Tickets will be sold:
    1 for $10
    5 for $40
    15 for $100

Lookin fore t’ seein ya thar!

Andy--sounds good, you always seem to
find good candidates. BTW--screw the beer, I'm now a diabetic. Do they have ice tea?

I guess I can suck down a couple Diet Cokes. Whats really funny is the longer the event (post ride raffle) goes, the LOUDER the damn place gets. Must be the fkin' beer, LOL.
Will be there and will try to keep this thread going. BTW--for us Angelenos its a hike
    down to Copland South.

Sorry about your drive, but hopefully you get to bring back some fun prizes.

I received some boxes yesterday: Ibis, Camelbak and X-Fusion! The house is starting to look like Christmas! :-)

Good! I hope the house has so much merch, more people can win stuff. One year I won like 3 things and the next I didn't win jacksh*t, but the odds are way better than a Scratcher. You're such a good guy for having this event and Pua is even a better person
to have to put up with you.

Hoping all you South OC people show up in big numbers! This event is in your own backyard!
And bring some cash for the raffle, them hospital bills don't pay itself

Does anyone know if the brewery is 'dog friendly'? Just got a pup, trying to socialize him, figure this would be a good triple whammy (charity, fun party w/ bikes, dog time).

    Thanks!

    Probiscus-if your puppy is a 2 pound girly dog-probably
If your puppy is a 100 pound mastiff-no.
The brewery will be packed to the gills with people.

It's a 14ish lb red heeler (puppy), aka australian cattle dog.

Still a few weeks out but would love to take him, he's been doing a lot better w/ people.

for some lucky raffle winners. OK Done. I'm bringing 27-34 cats to the

    BUMP!

I hope many so calfions make it to this special edition of andrew and pua's
hayride. I myself am not going to wear any pirate outfit because I'm not much of
a pirate person, but perhaps something less obtrusive like a spandex suit that
    only covers my privates.

    Its chilly though.

the Path is probably IMO the best indie shop in SoCal, too bad its located in Hicksville Tustin, regardless its a shop where you can easily find parts other shops wouldn't stock.
Also they really do some righteous price cuts on older model bikes and frames.Kudus for their generous donations!

If I win that Tallboy frame, I just may get into my time machine and set it for 2009
so I can be actually excited about it. J/k a very little bit.

Yeah, The Path does rock. I've been going there since, oh, I don't know when, I guess since Jeff Jones sold Bike Tech years ago.
The Path box is stuffed with items. They are great indeed!

New arrival includes a Niner frame!
Niner has always been there for me as well. thank you Niner bikes!!!
