    Recent Lion Sightings In North San Diego

    Channel 8 said that after interviewing some witnesses, it was determined that the cats were in fact Bobcats.
    The suspension of your bike sucks if it's different than mine. Really. It sucks. Big time.

    Mountain bike sighting reported in Escondido

    By: North County Times - | Sunday, November 4, 2037 10:59 PM PST ∞

    ESCONDIDO ---- Escondido police confirmed reports of a mountain bikes seen Sunday morning near Kit Carson Park.

    Police were called at about 9 a.m. after the bikes were seen about a half-mile north of Las Palmas Avenue, Sgt. Mike Graesser said. Officers confirmed the sighting with tracks found in the area, he said.

    Park rangers were then notified and will be conducting extra patrols, and the Land Managers were also alerted, Graesser said.

    The city will also post signs in the area to notify traffic, the sergeant said.

    Seriously, I've seen mountain lions in the past at Black Mountain Park in PQ, and more recently Carlsbad, in the Bressi Ranch area.
