    Quick noon ride between storms

I made a run down Sycamore Canyon at noon. I stayed on the paved road the whole time to save the trails (or to save my bike). Water was flowing on the pavement, in some places rim deep. Due to the large volume of water it was running clear, so the bike got wet but not gritty. The stream has undermined the road, going under the black top. After tonight's rain the road will be gone. The break in the weather didn't last long, I got chased out of there by more rain. But I got to ride!
