PSA - Mountian Lions in the Yucaipa/Redlands area

If you ride in the area, please be aware that there has been sightings of three different lions on Crafton Hills with the largest of the three estimated around 200lbs. The large cat jumped on the hood of a maintenance vehicle so it is not scared of humans or mechanized transport. There has also been tracks found in the wash across from the ranger station on Hwy 38. Be safe out there.

It's all fun and games until somebody gets mauled or killed.

Yeah, that would be more dangerous than 100 mountain lions.

It is legit. However, I still find it hard to believe that one of the cats is close to 200 lbs.

Harder to believe it jumped on the hood of a maintenance truck.
