    Palos Verdes w/single speed?

New to mountain biking and the closest place to ride for me is the top of Crenshaw Road in Palos Verdes. Went hiking to check it out and it's basically one big hill. Do any of you do this on a single speed? Just wondering if it's doable on a Monocog 29er.

I start from the bottom near Forrestal rd and go up the singletracks to the top. It's not a huge area but there are some good singletracks and you can get a good workout if you do loops. I do it on a singlespeed or geared

Forgot to mention. I ran it on a 32-18...which seemed to work (29 front 26 rear) fine.

Rode It a bit this morning. Took it easy and didn't go too far since it was my first ride. Definitely a good climb for me with the Monocog 29er, stock gearing 33-20.
