Bonking ... not feelin' well Palm Canyon Non Epic January 23 2010

Got up @ 3:30 to drive 2.5 hours from San Diego only to ride 20 yards and had to turn around.

We met up with the Riverside Group and had an awesome time riding the trails out there.

    Sun rising in Palm Springs.

Gman and MTB74 discussing trail life.

Off we go to the trail head.

Gman pedaling hard in the snow.

    that was not easy.

Eventually you get tired from riding in the snow.

    End of the Road.

Looks like a wise idea to abandon the ride and not do the "follow the gps" gig.

I'm frigg'n cold JUST looking at the pics. NO THANKS!

So did you spend the next six or seven hours drinking beer since you weren't riding?

Nope! we drove an hour to Riverside and met up with evdog and ozz to ride Sycamore and Box Springs then we had a couple san diego's best ale and called it a day. It was long day but loads of fun.
