Since when do you have to register to go for a ride? Is this private land or something?
The Revolution will not be motorized...especially at $5 per gallon.

Late reply....sorry, just got back into town.

The Weir Canyon, Fremont Canyon, and Limestone Canyon areas are private property that has been set aside a protected wildlands and are signatory to, and protected under the NCCP (Natural Community Conservation Program).

So the area is accessed through Docent led programs, but there a quite a few opportunities to ride the area and the rides consist of varying levels of difficulty and endurance.

Shortly a 50 to 60 mile epic ride will be added to the area for those of you who want to grind out a long day in the saddle.

The Bommer Canyon and Quail Hill areas are part of the City of Irvine Open Space Preserve - South that is City of Irvine property, but managed similar to the private areas, and similar to how Laguna Coast W.P. was managed during its staged opening period.

If anyone has any specific questions about the areas or specific trail access, feel free to call us directly at the numbers listed in the first post.

    Thanks

    See ya on the trails
