Nice photos Sky. While mine wasn't nearly so epic, I busted out an Elfin Forest ride yesterday first thing in the am. Perfect too. Oh, and that bike - that thing is waaay to new. I was secretly hoping for a pink Ritchey to show up in the foreground.

HA HA. Although, I may not be in these particular photos.....I have left skin/blood/DNA on just about every section of trail pictured here.

funny Mike. yeah, i have no problem riding a 20 year old bike around big meadow and the rest of mt laguna but i'll leave the downhill part of noble to the kona. 5" in the front and 4" in the rear is still not enought to smooth that bad boy out. i wanna get a turner 5 spot to smooth it out a bit more.

so do you normally ride on tuesdays? i've never been to Elfin forest. do you do it on a SS. i can bring out my slingshot single speed go for a spin with ya soon. are you going to the swap meet this sunday?

Okay, we know you love this trail, but is there a point where it goes "too far"?

Elfin on a single speed! No frickin' way, mate. I too rode my gearie with 5" rear and 4" front too. The climb out of the parking lot is 1.7 miles up up, up and some more up with some fun switchbacks thrown in. There's really good info on it on mountain bike bill's website

I just decided to ride because the weather was beautiful. I'm trying to get out for a moring ride at least once a week. Daley or Hodges is better for single speed. I'll drop you a line if I get out next week.

No swap meet for me. I've got a tight weekend leash on right now.

it's not the skin or blood he left I'm concerned about, it's the "other" DNA that he's left out there.................

Well, you see Noble(not Nobel), is very much like a woman. When she's playful and in the mood, she can put you in a state of nirvana. Take her for granted and not pay attention......and she will biitch-slap you, hard!

    Ahhhhhh.....I think I need a cigarette.
