    New to Ventura area.

Recent transplant from Portland. I'd like to ride some dh trails or good AM trails tomorrow if anyones riding that can show a new guy around.

Im fat and slow now after tearing everything in my knee in whistler last august. So im looking to take it easy but still have fun. Not skurred of rocks or steep. Just not doing doubles right now.

IM me if anyone will be out.

Sorry, but you are in XC Country now. DH is very limited. There's some in Simi Valley, the San Gabriel Mtns, and a few other places but it's limited. AM trails are limited here, comparatively. I'm an XC guy and so is everyone else I know so sorry, I cannot help you unless you want to ride XC. Then, I (we) can recommend all sorts of places to go. Some of our XC stuff has short AM sections thrown in.

    For those try:
Cheseboro Canyon (Agoura) and Wildwood Park (Thousand Oaks). Both of those are in Eastern Ventura Co.

    New to Ventura area.

Not a whole lot of DH around here, but there are some super fun tracks for sure. Guadalasca in Sycamore, Hummingbird in Simi, Johnson's in Chatsworth, Suicide in Agoura.

Huh? Head north. SB and SLO have plenty of DH trails. Plenty of hiker conflicts too so use your smarts.

There is a great trail system and some hills about 45 miles inland. Yup, i agree, thats a long way to drive to ride.

1-1.5 hours is an acceptable drive to me if the trails are worth it.
