yea. we ddi the whole shuttle last year, but i would recommned only tha tlast 1/2 you can shuttle jsut that. its less of a ride in the truck, cheaper, and doesn't have all the up/down.

But then it's not an "Epic" ride.

    Just a DH Shuttle thing...

had some of the best riding.

we started at Sherman Pass but then actually did an out and back to Sherman Peak at the start. it's only 800 feet gain, but when you start at 9,000 adn you normally ride at 0 it was a lung buster. the descent, however, was well worth it. fantastic and just technical enough to be fun.

on the main cannell meadow trail, there were some climbs (we did over 3,000 feet that day) but there were just some fantastic sections of trail. some nice mountain meadows to ride through and some reasonably technical stuff along a small stream. Plus, the rocky chutes at the beginning are a ton of fun as well.

If I only did the actual plung, I think I'd feel cheated. it's fun and it's fast but it's just one aspect of what made the ride memorable.

Cannell Videos here. actually, I had camera issues so I didn't even get any footage of the actual Plunge. all of this footage is from the previous 20 something miles of riding.
