    MTBR Noob...

    Hey SoCal,

My buddy and I just bought some Specialized XC Comps last week. Went on a little ride this past weekend up to Reseda/Eagle Rock for a few hours. Always looking for some new trails to ride and possibly meet up with some others to learn some tricks of the trade.

I currently reside in Simi but tend to travel a lot on weekends. Mostly San Diego.

Looking to hit up Mammoth later in the season if my skills improve some.

My buddy is always down for some new trails and new people as well.

Time to go learn more from the site!

I would go to Mammoth next season with a year under your belt.....unless you are doing Hummingbird all the time...your skills won't be up for Mammoth

if you live in simi you're surrounded by great riding... stop into Simi Cycling Center and talk to Scott, Victor or Greg - we'll point you to some great trails in the area for any skillset...
