I might be visting Morro Bay during early June...

Anybody know of any trails in the area? (or should this be posted in the NorCal board..)

    thanks,

Yeah, Montana De Oro a little south of Morro near Los Osos.

Head over to SLO for Morning Glory, Shooters, Pick and Shovel, Madonna.

I would stop by the branch of Cambria bike that is on Monterey street in SLO and they should be able to direct you to trails. (at least they could when they were Better Bike).

If you can catch the Bike Happening on the night of June 2nd, I would recommend that. Downtown SLO near the mission around 9ish. Although I have heard it isn't as good as it was when I was living up there, I'm sure it should still be fun.

As already mentioned, Montana de Oro offers the most extensive trail system in the area. For a nice quick ride very close to Morro Bay, try Cerro Alto. I recommend riding the loop counter-clockwise - starting up the Bridge trail. Click the link for details::

Montana De Oro has some great trails. Well worth your time IMHO.
